USPS in the hole nearly $4 billion dollars

It is hard to believe after all the cost cutting measures the post office still lost $3.9 billion dollars. However, what is not surprising is that the post office has not taken steps to ensure its survival into the future by offering services for the new era that would ensure the USPS continues for a long time into the future.
How is it that the USPS has not figured out what solutions they can offer clients to increase their income and also provide a long term sustainable solution for their busines.
It has not been a secret for a decade already that we are going further into the technological revolution, so why have they not come up with a plan or begun to offer services that represent the future.
I hope that they figure it out, there are plenty of consulting companies out there, so get it right already! America is all about innovation, there is it!
